Water so Deep by Nichole Giles- Review.

About the story.

Seventeen-year-old Emma Harris is drowning on dry land.

No one knows what’s happening to her, and she’d like to keep her evolution from human to mermaid a secret, but the truth is getting harder and harder to hide. From her adoptive family, from her friends, and especially from the irresistible James Phelps.

Her time in the ocean is spent dodging a possessive merman, while her time on land is split between caring for her special-needs brother and squeezing in every last possible moment of human life. She soon realizes falling for James is unavoidable when he constantly comes to Emma’s rescue and somehow manages to see through her carefully constructed icy facade to the vulnerability she lives with every day. Everything about James makes Emma yearn for a life on land she just can't have.
When Emma’s brother disappears on her watch, James is the only person she trusts to help her save him. But even if they can save her brother, nothing can prevent her return to the sea. Whether she likes it or not, Emma is changing—unable to breathe without yielding to the tide—and it's only a matter of time before she's forced to surrender forever.
Review
I got this book as an ARC. My first ARC so I was allready ecited.
This book is so much better than I expected. The point of views switches between James and Emma which is sometimes confusing but I don't mind.
This book is so bitter sweet. I totally adored it. Also I liked the supernatural twist in it. You don't see books on this subject very much. It was such a light read and I totally loved it, sometimes the book went a total other way then I suspected. I like to guess things that are going to happen and to be totally honest I guessed wrong every single time. Which I loved.
I highly recommend this book.   Nichole Giles did a great job.
I gave this book a well earned 4 stars.

Alienated by Melissa Landers - Review.
If the story doesn't convince you to buy this book, then just take a look at the cover.
Who doesn't want this kind of book on  his bookshelf ? It's GORGEOUS !
Oooh and the story is even better than the cover. Can you believe that ? It's almost impossible.

About the story.

Two years ago, the aliens made contact. Now Cara Sweeney is going to be sharing a bathroom with one of them.

Handpicked to host the first-ever L’eihr exchange student, Cara thinks her future is set. Not only does she get a free ride to her dream college, she’ll have inside information about the mysterious L’eihrs that every journalist would kill for. Cara’s blog following is about to skyrocket.

Still, Cara isn’t sure what to think when she meets Aelyx. Humans and L’eihrs have nearly identical DNA, but cold, infuriatingly brilliant Aelyx couldn’t seem more alien. She’s certain about one thing, though: no human boy is this good-looking.

But when Cara's classmates get swept up by anti-L'eihr paranoia, Midtown High School suddenly isn't safe anymore. Threatening notes appear in Cara's locker, and a police officer has to escort her and Aelyx to class.

Cara finds support in the last person she expected. She realizes that Aelyx isn’t just her only friend; she's fallen hard for him. But Aelyx has been hiding the truth about the purpose of his exchange, and its potentially deadly consequences. Soon Cara will be in for the fight of her life—not just for herself and the boy she loves, but for the future of her planet.

Review :

So I bought this book somewhere in june. I ordered it online and I ordered the paperback. I saw this book and I was like "I don't know anything about you but you're pretty let's buy you. " And then I got it in the mail and they made a mistake. They accidentally sent me a hardcover. Not that I mind. hahahaha.

This is the picture I sent to my friend while I was reading it.
(it was really hot)

I personally didn't like this book. I LOVED this book. I want to marry it !!
A book about alien exchange student. I mean GENIUS !

Landers is so creative. I don't know how she does it.
This book literally pulled me in and never letted me go.

This is so good.
I like how she switches the point of views between Aelyx and Cara. This is great because you know what goes around in their heads.

I can't wait to read the second book.

The second book is called Invaded and will be released on February 3th.

I pre-ordered a signed copy of Invaded. That will be my first signed book ever and I am glad to give that honor to an amazing auther like Melissa Landers.

But at the museum strange things seem to happen and that's only the beginning.

In this book you follow the twelve year old Percy on a trip across the United States of America alongside his friends Grover and Annabeth to find the truth, a stolen lightning bold and to prove that he is innocent.

The second book is called "Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters"

The fourth book is called "Percy Jackson and The Battle of the Labyrinth"

The fifth and final book is called "Percy Jackson and The Last Olympian"
The final book starts a little bit after Percy's sixteenth birthday. Camp halfblood is fighting a war with the titans in Manhattan to protect mount Olympus that is located on the 600th floor of the Empire State Bilding.

Riordan uses greek mythelogy in a very creative way.
I like how the book sucks you in and you can't put it down.

I've read the series back in early 2013 and it was so amazing.
I read all five books in one maybe two weeks.

What I liked most about it, is that feeling I got when the series ended.
I didn't know what to do with my life ! -I like that feeling, it means that it was a perfect series for me-.

Divergent by Veronica Roth - Review.

This young adolt series by Veronica Roth will change your life.

Divergent takes place in Chicago 100 years in the future.
Where teenagers of the age 16 need to take a test that tells them if they belong in Abnegation, Erudite, Condor, Amity or Dauntless.

(quick meaning of it :

  • Abnegation --> the selfless
  • Erudite --> the intelligant
  • Condor --> the honest
  • Amity --> the peacefull
  • Dauntless --> the brave )
After this test they will choose where they want to belong and live.

The main character is Beatrice Prior, she is a 16 year old Abnegation born and will take the test soon.
The book is all about her choice and how she tries to fit in her faction.

Review :

I really enjoyed this book.
It's this kind of a book you can't put down untill it's finished.
In my advice , buy the entire trilogy at ones because it's quite addicting.

People say it's like the hunger games by Suzanne Collins. I don't get that, It's nothing like it, no fight to the dead , no television, no evil president Snow and no cat....

I recomented this trilogy so many times. And everyone(of those people) that has read it had nothing bad to say.

I don't know what else to say then : Addicting, Fantastic, totally Badass and that I highly recomment it.
